Roy Steinbock, M.D. F.A.A.P

I am a board certified Pediatrician and have been practicing Pediatrics since 1999.  Born in Israel, I moved to Los Angeles at the age of four.  My degrees include a BA with honors from UC Berkeley and a doctorate in medicine with honors from the University of Tel Aviv, Sackler School of Medicine. I completed a Pediatric Residency, at the Schneider’s Children Hospital in New York.  Since residency I have worked as a Pediatric inpatient doctor, in a newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care unit, and in several Pediatric emergency rooms including Rose Medical Center and North Suburban hospital.  Most recently I worked in primary care at Partners in Pediatrics, a holistic general Pediatric group in Denver.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing and building guitars, hiking, snowboarding, yoga, meditation and most of all, spending time with my family.  It is my own nutritional, medical, spiritual and emotional lifestyle choices that complement my Pediatric practice, and continue to influence my approach as a physician and parent.

Melisa Sandoval, Office Manager

She met Dr. Roy at Partners in Pediatrics in denver, and proudly joined him at Mindful Pediatrics in July of 2007.  She is an invaluable and integral part of this medical practice. Melisa, enjoys music, biking, and spending time with her family. She is also the proud mother of two wonderful children.

Sally Haugen, RN, Nurse and Office Assistant

I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Soon after graduating in 1993, I moved with my husband to Trondheim, Norway where I got the majority of my nursing experience in a neonatal intensive care unit. My most valuable life experience, however, has been parenting my own two children and watching them grow. Aside from working at Mindful Pediatrics, I am currently studying for a Master of Science degree in holistic nutrition at Hawthorn University.
